George McBain & Co. provides high quality contract sheet metal work for the Aberdeen and Grampian area. We work as subcontractors to other companies such as building, construction and the oil industry, as well as fabricate custom 'one off' metal designs for other clients.

HOW IT BEGAN
The company was set up back in 1974 by George McBain and Ian Gammie. Our reputation for high quality work and specialist subcontracting allowed us to grow and expand across Aberdeen.
OUR BUSINESS GROWS
Using state-of-the-art machinery at our modern, fully-equipped premises, our highly experienced staff produce sheet metal products for Building, engineering and oil industries.
WHERE WE ARE NOW
The business was taken over in 2005 by Ian's sons - Scott and Craig. The brothers continue to lead the business, helping clients across Scotland create products for a range of applications.

We are highly experienced in fabricating products for the roofing and cladding industry, such as guttering, flashings and roof soakers. Many of the companies we deal with demand the highest levels of precision, namely the oil industry. We specialise in working with aluminium and stainless steel, making excellent use of our top-of-the-range TIG welding equipment to create custom products for a wide range of industries. We fabricate:

We are able to work with most metal types in thickness of 1mm to 8mm, and can provide most of our products with a polyester powder coating if required.
